Just like anywhere else in the world, Emerald Ranch has their specific set of holidays they celebrate throughout the year! These holidays are always celebrated, either as a whole herd or between family members. Either way, the Buttermilks here will always make sure to honor the holiday in a positive way. The cattle here at Emerald Ranch have always honored these holidays, as their traditions were passed down from their ancestors to them. Even as the herd evolves, these holidays stick.
If there is any sort of interference on the day, the herd will not stop to proceed as soon as possible. Even if this means waiting for the next day. Missing or avoiding a holiday is unacceptable to them and nothing will ever stop the herd from honoring them whenever they can. A Matriarch or council against their holidays is deemed as unworthy and may face ultimate removal from their rank. Every Buttermilk must be willing to honor these and research them if they are an outsider.
